   I have had myDW708 for 3 years now. I love the saw, but it is very heavy. Lifting and carrying it from spot to spot makes you want another saw. I just bought the Delta Universal Miter Saw Stand. Now that’s the way I should have always had it! Now I can deal with the weight since the saw is always mounted to the stand all I do now is wheel it around.

   I recently worked on a log home were we used this type of saw. It was a real work horse of the project right from the start all the way till the end.The bevels and miter cuts were very accuarte
   settings were very easy to use. This saw out performed other brands that i have used in the construction trade.It easily handled cuts on rafter truss,s,8″9″&10″pine logs full&half log anything that you could feed it. Does a wonderful job not one bit of problem.Combine this with a good work table it sped up the production 10 fold when you have to make alot of cuts.
